It seems like only yesterday that we were celebrating the Summer Solstice and the longest day of the year. Now, in the blink of an eye, it’s fall, and the days are already shorter! Where did the summer go?

Thanks to all of you who went through the hottest of summers with us as we made every effort to keep your air conditioning up and running   Even though we still have more sunny and warm days before us, you will want to start thinking about scheduling your furnace maintenance so you're ready to turn on that heat when YOU want.

If you've been by our shop you'll see that we’ve been busy upgrading the landscaping at our office. And we are excited to be getting ready for Middletown Day on September 18th from 11:00 - 5:00 on the lawn at Croydon Hall. Please stop by and see us as we are planning truly great giveaways (including the ever-popular blue fly swatter)! 😊

You know you're supposed to be changing your furnace filters regularly, but ARE YOU?

A dirty filter makes your furnace/heat pump work harder and leads to super scary numbers on your heating bill. Aim to swap the filters out once a month. A variety of electrostatic filters are now available that also trap allergens or even pathogens such as viruses. These cannot work effectively, though, unless they are changed regularly. It's up to YOU.
It's our great pleasure to share a
customer's TESTIMONIAL with you:

"I have used Brown's for DECADES! Brown's has always used professional staff who come when expected and do excellent work. Will explained and showed me why I needed a new furnace. Tim and Joe were very respectful and explained everything they did. All are excellent employees!"

How Many Ways Can You Use Vinegar?

  1. Just use plain white vinegar to clean stainless steel.
  2. To kill weeds, just heat it up, put it in a spray bottle and go after those weeds!
  3. Clean your coffee maker - just pour white vinegar into the reservoir instead of water and turn it on. (Be sure to rinse it out afterwards to get rid of the vinegar taste.)
  4.  Clean toilets - just add a cup of white vinegar into the bowl, let sit five minutes and flush. It will be spic and span clean!
