Doug Brown, General Manager

Some say I grew up in the business, I have also pursued other interests in my life. These experiences in my past career and in my education have only helped me in bringing this company into the next decade. I’ve worked for the family business full time for about 15 years and in that time I’ve worked in the rebates and warranties department, accounting and customer service department answering the phone. At the end of the day, I’ve washed tarps, emptied trash and cleaned bathrooms—I get the gritty side, and so alongside this great staff I am humbly looking forward to our bright future. We see our customers and employees as extended family. We emphasize customer relationships and want all our customers to feel both cared for and appreciated. When you work with Brown’s, you get the same guarantee that was established nearly 50 years ago by my parents Mr. and Mrs. Brown. We believe in comfort and hospitality–Brown’s offers home comfort to our clients so that families and friends can gather together and thrive and that is important in all our lives. We can take care of any and all of your HVAC and plumbing needs.

Joe Horvath, Installation Manager

I started at Browns over 18 years ago as a young guy and parts runner. Within a year I worked my way up to a lead installer running jobs. I now manage the Installation department making sure all jobs are done to Browns standards. I’m a dedicated family man who enjoys surfing, my family, and I really care about the company I work for. My goal is to treat our customers and employees like family.

Michelle Work, Office Manager

I’ve worked with Brown’s for almost 21 years and I started out as a dispatcher and managed our client’s service agreements. During my time here at Brown’s I was married to my husband of 20 years, I’ve raised 2 boys who are 16 and 19 and have recently come back full time. Both my sons now work for Brown’s. It’s a family business where employees and customers are also family. I believe in our vision of excellence in service for our customers and I try alongside my staff to reach for that goal each day.

Josh Dusenbery, Service Manager

I’ve worked for Brown’s for 5 years starting out as a Service Technician and have also worked the Sales Department. I believe in this Company and it’s values and that’s why I am here and here to stay. This is a fast-paced industry on which I thrive so I’ve always felt right at home in HVAC and customer service. I’m always here to answer your questions or address your concerns.

Paul Keator, Sales Manager

I’m probably the newest of all the senior staff here at Brown’s, but it’s been a great fit since day one. I’ve been in this business a long time and chose to work for Brown’s because of their reputation and commitment to their customers. I look forward to working with our longtime clients as well as clients we will meet along the way.
