Doug Brown, General Manager

Some say I grew up in the business, I have also pursued other interests in my life. These experiences in my past career and in my education have only helped me in bringing this company into the next decade. I’ve worked for the family business full time for about 15 years and in that time I’ve worked in the rebates and warranties department, accounting and customer service department answering the phone. At the end of the day, I’ve washed tarps, emptied trash and cleaned bathrooms—I get the gritty side, and so alongside this great staff I am humbly looking forward to our bright future. We see our customers and employees as extended family. We emphasize customer relationships and want all our customers to feel both cared for and appreciated. When you work with Brown’s, you get the same guarantee that was established nearly 50 years ago by my parents Mr. and Mrs. Brown. We believe in comfort and hospitality–Brown’s offers home comfort to our clients so that families and friends can gather together and thrive and that is important in all our lives. We can take care of any and all of your HVAC and plumbing needs.

Joe Horvath, Installation Manager

I started at Browns over 18 years ago as a young guy and parts runner. Within a year I worked my way up to a lead installer running jobs. I now manage the Installation department making sure all jobs are done to Browns standards. I’m a dedicated family man who enjoys surfing, my family, and I really care about the company I work for. My goal is to treat our customers and employees like family.

I’m probably the newest of all the senior staff here at Brown’s, but it’s been a great fit since day one. I’ve been in this business a long time and chose to work for Brown’s because of their reputation and commitment to their customers. I look forward to working with our longtime clients as well as clients we will meet along the way.

With over twenty years in the workforce in varied fields from Retail Facility Maintenance, Restaurant Operations, Finance Counseling & Insurance Claims Management, I have joined the Brown’s Team and couldn’t be happier. I have always believed that team work makes the dream work and everyone here at Brown’s shares the same foundations of success as I do. My goal is to monitor and assist in the day to day functions from the Call Center, Procedure & Policy, Compliance and Managing office dynamics with our Install & Service teams. My favorite phrase has always been “Few things will make you feel better than a job brilliantly done”, when you put your all into any job, big or small, you will always finish feeling proud. Since I came onboard I have seen just that from our staff which makes me look forward to my future here at Brown’s as I know this is more than just a job, it is a family from the staff to the customers.

Over the years, I have worked as subcontractor on a few occasions for Brown’s, so the transition to a full time position felt great.
